Lamas-Kim Chan-Sung Ho-young’s consecutive goals’, Busan completely defeats Seongnam, ‘4 consecutive wins’… Cheongju is undefeated at 14G

Busan I’Park won its return to Asiad and firmly maintained its sole lead. Steps toward direct promotion are accelerating.

Busan won 3-0 in the home game of the 31st round of Hana One Q K League 1 2023 against Seongnam FC held at Busan Asiad Main Stadium at 6:30 pm on the 16th.

As a result, leader Busan, who achieved four consecutive wins, accumulated 56 points (16 wins, 8 draws, 5 losses), widening the gap by 4 points over second place Gimcheon Sangmu (52 points), who had played one less game. Busan also leads Seongnam with 2 wins and 1 loss this season. It is the third consecutive game without a goal following the games against Gimcheon Sangmu (2-0) and FC Anyang (1-0).

In particular, Busan returned to its home Asiad two months after playing against FC Anyang on July 24th. Busan had to play games at Gudeok Stadium due to the K-pop festival, stadium renovation for the national soccer team’s international match, and a friendly match between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Jeonbuk Hyundai, which visited Korea.

On the other hand, Seongnam recorded a draw in 3 games (1 draw, 2 losses) and remained in 9th place with 34 points (8 wins, 10 draws, 11 losses). They also maintained an 11-point gap with 5th place Gyeongnam FC (45 points), which qualified for the playoffs.

The home team, Busan, led by coach Park Jin-seop, formed an offensive line with Lamas, Kim Chan, and Seong Ho-young. Lim Min-hyuk and Kim Sang-jun played in the midfield, while Kim Jeong-hwan and Park Se-jin were deployed on both sides. Choi Ji-mook, Min Sang-ki, and Lee Han-do formed a three-back defense, and goalkeeper Koo Sang-min wore the gloves.

Coach Lee Ki-hyung’s Seongnam had Park Ji-won, Lee Jong-ho, and Jeong Seung-yong in the offensive line, while Kwon Soon-hyung and Park Sang-hyuk occupied the midfield. Kim Jin-rae and Lee Ji-hoon were on the side, and Kang Kang-bin, Yoo Seon, and Cho Sung-wook formed a three-back defensive line. Choi Pil-soo guarded the goal.

Busan took the lead early on by scoring the first goal in the 18th minute of the first half. After seeing that goalkeeper Choi Pil-su was coming forward, Lamas kicked the ball with his left foot from the front of midfield. This shot was well over Choi Pil-soo’s height and went straight into the Seongnam goal. Lamas recorded his 8th goal of the season, and Lim Min-hyuk reported his 2nd assist.

Seongnam then launched a counterattack and appeared to be awarded a penalty kick from a corner kick situation in the 31st minute of the first half. The decision was made that the ball bounced and hit Chan Kim’s arm while he was clearing the ball with a header. However, the penalty kick was canceled as a result of the on-field video review (VAR).

Busan, who was heartbroken, widened the score gap with Kim Chan’s additional goal in the 41st minute of the first half. Lim Min-hyuk’s corner kick was caught by Kim Jeong-hwan, who was going around the right, and was passed to Kim Chan, who was standing in front of the goal. Kim Chan, who had almost provided an excuse for the tying goal earlier, kicked the ball leisurely. It was Kim Chan’s 7th goal of the season and Kim Jeong-hwan’s 2nd assist.

Seongnam, who entered the second half without taking control of the game, attempted to make a change by replacing Park Ji-won with Yang Tae-yang. Also, the goalkeeper was changed to Kim Young-kwang instead of Choi Pil-soo. Seongnam had a sharp shot by Park Sang-hyuk in the 10th minute of the second half, but it was blocked. Seongnam then put in Denilson and Jin Seong-wook, aiming for a make-up goal in earnest.

Busan maintained overall balance by bringing in Summer in place of Kim Sang-jun. In the 17th minute of the second half, Busan almost scored an additional goal. Lim Min-hyuk’s shot from the right hit the crossbar.

Seongnam’s Denilson’s lone header shot missed the goal in the 21st minute of the second half, but Seong Ho-young scored a key goal for Busan in the 36th minute of the second half. Seong Ho-young struck alone from the right and finished with a left-footed shot. Ho-Young Seong scored his third goal in three consecutive games and third of the season, and Lamas recorded his sixth assist. Seongnam was given 4 more minutes of extra time, but was unable to score a consolation goal.메이저놀이터

In the previous match between Seoul E-Land and Cheonan City, the away team Cheonan defeated Seoul E-Land 3-0. Cheonan achieved a landslide victory with Motta’s first goal in the 13th minute of the first half, Paulino’s additional goal in the 9th minute of the second half, and Lee Seok-gyu’s key goal in the 39th minute of the second half. Cheonan (14 points), the lowest ranked team, has been undefeated in its last four games (1 win, 3 draws) and achieved its second win of the season following the match against Seongnam on July 23. 10th place Seoul E-Land (32 points) fell into a losing streak.

Cheongju FC, the visiting team, also defeated Ansan Greeners 1-0. Cheongju defended Giorgi’s first goal in the 18th minute of the second half and took 3 points. Cheongju rose to 6th place with 43 points (11 wins, 10 draws, 7 losses). In particular, Cheongju continued its undefeated streak to 14 games (8 wins, 6 draws). On the other hand, Ansan, who recorded 6 games without a win (2 draws, 4 losses) amid irregularities in joining the team, remained in 12th place (18 points) and allowed Cheonan to catch up by 4 points.
