Is this your debut season?’ Ansan Monster Rookie Jeong Jae-min “Initial goal was 5 goals…now up to 7 goals”

Jeong Jae-min can easily be called a ‘monster rookie.’

Ansan won 4-3 against Seoul E-Land in the 33rd round of ‘Hana One Q K League 2 2023’ held at Mokdong Sports Complex at 4 pm on the 24th. With this, Ansan (21 points) jumped to 12th place.레모나토토

Ansan, led by coach Lim Gwan-sik, used a 4-2-3-1 formation. Led by Kim Gyeong-jun, Jeong Ji-young, Kim Jin-hyeon, and Lee Gyu-bin formed the offensive line. In midfield, Choi Han-sol and Noh Kyung-ho held out. The defense consisted of Lee Taek-geun, Kim Jeong-ho, Jang Yu-seop, and Kim Jae-seong. Goalkeeper gloves were worn by Seungbin Lee.

It didn’t start well. They allowed the first goal to Yoo Jeong-wan in the 32nd minute of the first half, and then gave up an additional goal to Byeong-jun Byeon in the 15th minute of the second half. Even though defeat was in sight, Ansan did not give up. The balance was balanced with a chasing goal by Yoon Joo-tae in the 23rd minute of the second half and an equalizer by Jeong Jae-min in the 29th minute of the second half.

It was intense until just before the end. Ansan turned the game around with a comeback goal by Jeong Jae-min in the 41st minute of the second half. Seoul E-Land balanced the score again with Honan’s equalizer in the 49th minute of the second half. Just as it was about to end in a draw, another goal came from behind. In the 51st minute of the second half, Yoon Joo-tae scored a multi-goal and a spectacular goal. In the end, the fierce game ended with Ansan winning after a fierce battle in which both teams scored a combined 7 goals.

After the game ended, Jaemin Jeong, who was selected as the Distinguished Player, participated in the press conference. After coming on as a substitute in the 10th minute of the second half, he took charge of Ansan’s front line with excellent post play. As a result, an equalizing goal that brought the game back to square one and a comeback goal that overturned the balance were scored. It completely lived up to Director Lim Gwan-sik’s faith. It was such a dazzling performance that it was hard to believe that it was his professional debut season.

[The Q&A interview with Jaemin Jeong below]

Q. Thoughts on the game

A. The coach came and there was no victory. I am very happy that I was able to win today.

Q. Scoring scene

A. Basically, there was a promised play whether it was short or long. I moved according to that promise, and I think I was able to score because my brothers gave me good support. I clearly remember the first goal, but I haven’t seen the second goal again. I don’t remember exactly what the situation was. I was so out of it. I looked low and luckily it hit my head.

Q. Instructions at the time of replacement

A. He ordered me to press hard. Since there have been no goals recently, I was personally greedy to score. He always emphasizes the need to be able to withstand high-pressure situations.

Q. How did you feel about the dramatic win

? A. When the score was 3-2, I thought, ‘That’s it.’ But we conceded a goal in extra time, so I thought, ‘It’s not going to work out.’ I was having a hard time, but I feel good because (Yoon) Joo-tae scored the winning goal.

Q. Congratulations from my colleagues

A. They praised me a lot. But the situation was focused on Joo-tae, who scored the winning goal.

Q. If you had to choose between winning a theater game and escaping last place,

A. I was aware that Cheonan won and ended up in last place. I think escaping last place is more important.

Q. After Director Lim Gwan-sik took office

A. You think transition speed is very important. When the opponent catches the ball, he asks them to press hard. I try to pay attention to both personal and team issues.

Q. Goals for the rest of the season

A. The initial goal was 5 goals, but I scored 5 goals. I am a little more greedy and my goal is 7 goals. As a team, we need to achieve great results, so I hope we can get as many points as possible.

Q. Recap of the pro debut season

A. I think Ansan’s rookies were given more opportunities compared to other teams. I tried to prove it. I had a goal of scoring points, and I think it worked out well after I proved myself to a certain extent in my first year as a rookie.

Q. Helping me adapt

A. I talked a lot with my fellow attackers, Joo-tae and (Kim) Gyeong-jun, about what to do when we don’t score a goal. Also, since Joo-tae is a veteran, he took care of my mental aspect as well.

Q. Subscribe to Yoon Joo-tae’s YouTube

A. The quality is high and it’s more interesting than I thought, so I keep watching it. Joo Tae takes a lot of pictures in my daily life and I try to hang out with him every time we film. (Laughs)
