“Crazy, No. 1 overall monster” 100-mile fireballer, and “KKKKKKK” scoreless…Strikeout rate 57% ‘shocked’

Major League Pittsburgh Pirates fastball pitcher Paul Skins continued his phenomenal strikeout parade.

Skins, a member of the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians under Pittsburgh, started the home game against the St. Paul Saints (under the Minnesota Twins) on the 19th (Korea Standard Time) and struck out eight, one hit and two walks in three ⅓.

Skins threw only 65 pitches and left the mound. He is in the process of continuously increasing the number of pitches. He struck out eight out of 10 with fastballs reaching up to 102.1 miles (164.3 kilometers).

In the fourth inning, he took the leadoff hitter Wallner with a ground ball to the second base, walked Severino, and then left the mound.

Skins pitched in four Triple-A games, allowing no runs in 12 ⅔. He had five hits, four walks and 27 strikeouts. He only had a batting average of .116 and a WHIP of 0.71.
