Major League Pittsburgh Pirates fastball pitcher Paul Skins continued his phenomenal strikeout parade.
Skins, a member of the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians under Pittsburgh, started the home game against the St. Paul Saints (under the Minnesota Twins) on the 19th (Korea Standard Time) and struck out eight, one hit and two walks in three ⅓.
Skins threw only 65 pitches and left the mound. He is in the process of continuously increasing the number of pitches. He struck out eight out of 10 with fastballs reaching up to 102.1 miles (164.3 kilometers).
On the day, Skins threw 43 four-seam fastballs, and 34 were held for over 100 miles. His maximum speed was 102.1 miles and his average speed was 100.5 miles (161.7 kilometers). He is a monster.
