Seongnam FC is holding an open test for a professional team to join the club for the 2024 season.
The application period will be open for four days, from Saturday, June 18, to Tuesday, June 21, at 14:00, and finalists will be announced after document screening and practical tests.
Eligibility is limited to current elite soccer players who are high school graduates or above and have no disqualifications for registration with the Korea Football Association and K League.
Successful applicants will be notified individually on Friday, December 24, and the practical test will be held on Tuesday, December 28. The final winners will be announced on Friday, December 1, and no players will be selected if there are no eligible players after the test.
Seongnam said, “The players who got a chance through the pro team open test are performing well in the pros. This season, Kim Jin-rae and Kim Won-jun joined the team against a 175:1 odds and have contributed to the team with meaningful results, including appearances in more than 20 games, goals and assists. We are looking forward to the challenge of passionate and talented players, as we want to provide opportunities for many players through a fair selection process.”
